Dr. Edina Renfro-Michel, NCC, LPC is a new Assistant Professor of Counseling at Montclair State University and a recent doctoral graduate in community counseling at Mississippi State University. Her areas of research are Attachment Theory and Supervision.

Dr. Sacky Holdiness, LPC, NCC earned her doctoral degree in Counselor Education from Mississippi State University, a Master of Arts degree in psychology from the University of West Florida, and a Bachelor of Science degree in sociology from Mississippi State College for Women. She works extensively with children, adolescents, and adults suffering from problems related to a variety of issues including attachment, trauma, and abuse.

Currently, she serves as the Director of The Counselor’s Cabin in Meridian, MS. A national and international lecturer, Dr. Holdiness coauthored The Development of An Assessment Protocol for Reactive Attachment Disorder in The Journal of Mental Health Counseling and Etiology and Epidemiology of Reactive Attachment Disorder in Comprehensive Encyclopedia of School Psychology. Her current research interest involves the relationship between attachment and communication.
